09.17.09 - 02.05.10 - My Fosters - Pocket
While Pocket may look like any other 5 lb, 6 week old pittie puppy, she is an anomaly because she isn't, in fact 6 weeks old. As of when I started fostering her, she was 5 months old and yes, only 5 lbs. She is currently undergoing testing to figure out why, since she is theoretically the result of 2 purebred pitties. All her littermates are currently rocking it out at 28 lbs.
09.18.09 - Shunt is ruled out due to the bloodwork not giving any indications towards that condition
09.21.09 - Going back to the dr for a stomach tap, x rays, fecal exam and general check up
09.22.09 - Ruled out pituitary dwarfism and other known issues. Vet wants to resolve the anemia, UTI and low protein and recheck blood in a month.
09.29.09 - Pocket started puppy kindergarten tonight. She excels at training due to how food motivated she is.
