My Fosters - Kenya fostered 01.19.08 - ?
Kenya is a sweet submissive pit pointer mix who is wonderful (albeit a little pushy) with humans. She wants nothing more than to be where you are and to snuggle up next to you. She learns quickly and responds to commands willingly most of the time as she is super eager to please. She will practically drop on command for a belly rub - one of her favorite indulgences.
Kenya loves to eat which is good in that she is food motivated for training and bad because her 2008 New Years resolution is to drop about 10 lbs. She is probably supposed to be a petite dog but isn't really at the moment.
She has gotten along famously with my cat and rats. She does not, however, enjoy the company of larger female dogs as she is very fearful. She has taken good sized chunks out of Borrego's head and ears simply because Borrego got in her space. She would probably be best as an only dog or perhaps with a mellow smaller pup.
